A lion cub who was resting in a tree has been captured tumbling to the ground before running to his dad for comfort.
Photographer Sonia Rousseau, 47, captured the images while visiting the Kicheche Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Keyna earlier this year.
The shots show the cub resting in a tree before losing its grip and making a sudden drop to the floor below.
The cub can then be seen feeling sorry for itself before running over to its dad to be consoled.
Sonia, who lives in Paris, France and also works in wealth management, said: “I’m always excited about what might happen and the morning I took this shot was very special.
“When we got closer to the tree we could see the small cub sitting on the tree branches.
“After a few seconds it was hanging off the tree by Its front legs, then fell onto all fours and ran over to its dad comfort.”
