A doting dog owner built a machine to lift the blanket off a bed before carefully lowering it on to his pooch without the need for human interaction.
Caroline Norre filmed her 13-year-old Molly approaching her wicker basket at home in Denmark and poking her nose at the cover above it.
Almost immediately the black and white blanket is pulled up by a pulley, allowing the pooch to curl up on the cushion underneath.
After a few seconds wait, the blanket then slowly lowers, making Molly disappear completely.
Caroline said: “My father made the machine so Molly no longer has to wait for us to help her get to bed.
“She can just walk up and get under it.
