Practice makes paw-fect – Hungry puppies learn how to catch treats in adorable photoshoot

This super cute collection of photographs shows puppies learning how to catch treats.

Taken by 48-year-old dog photographer Christian Vieler, from Waltrop, Germany, the pooches have been snapped in his studio as part of his new lifetime project ‘Dogs Catching Treats’.

The images show a selection of puppies, some successfully catching the snacks, whilst others show the attempts from pups who haven’t quite got the hang of it yet.

Christian said: “Shocked, confused, joyful or sad, these photographs of dogs catching treats show a big variety of well-known emotions.

“I am grateful to have the chance to work as a professional dog photographer.”

This particular shoot was the first time Christian had photographed puppies in this way after becoming a professional photographer in 2016.

Noting his favourite snap which shows a Labrador, he said: “My favourite capture is Labrador Lotti, because it defines my idea in the best way.

“I still enjoy every shoot and dog that I work with.”
