This cheeky gorilla looks like she’s enjoying the warmer weather as she playfully jumps around and claps her hands in the sunshine.
A sequence of photographs show western lowland gorilla Kera as she tries to get attention by clapping during a warm day at Bristol Zoo last week.
Taken by a zoo regular, the pictures also show the ‘naughty teenager’ throwing hay in the air.
The photographer said: “Kera is quite a greedy gorilla and likes to be the centre of attention.
“The photo of her stepping across the stream is when she had to be first out for the lunchtime talk and feed and she rushed over to get a good position.
“Then she started throwing hay in the air and showing off by clapping on the log to get attention.
“The visitors love to watch her antics.
“She’s 14 years old and basically a naughty teenager.”
Kera hit the headlines back in 2016 when she had an emergency caesarean after suffering pre-eclampsia during her pregnancy with Afia, now three.
After Kera struggled to bond with her daughter Afia was adopted by another member of the gorilla group.
