This snapper captured a great photo-giraffe with these Lion King-inspired pictures of animals against the setting sun.
Professional wildlife photographer Andy Rouse took the stunning set of images in a desert in the Masai Mara in Kenya.
Andy, who has spent his life with animals, said: “It’s really unusual to get a giraffe so clearly against such an amazing sunset.
“Usually you get one or the other.
“On this night we saw the giraffe making its way across the sunset and got our vehicle into position.
“Several vehicles went by in the distance creating a lot of dust, which helped this picture no end.
“It’s nice when it all comes together for once.
“This experience was the best giraffe encounter I have ever had.”
The photographs were taken while Andy was leading a client safari and working on his forthcoming book, based on life in the Masai Mara.
He said: “I love the Masai Mara and working with the wildlife there.
“You never know what you are going to see one day to the next.”
“I just want to continue photograph the animals that I love free from pressure of being told how I should do it.”
