A huge herd of wildebeest had to escape from a river bed after spotting a pride of lions.
Tour guide Joshua Loonkushu was leading a group through the Masai Mara, Kenya, in November 2018 when the alarmed animals made their move.
In mesmeric movements, the herd, numbering up to 500 creatures, filter panicked through through a small gap on the bank.
Joshua said: “I was exhilarated.
“There were three lions, two adults and a teen.
“None of the wildebeest were caught and the following morning we found the whole lion pride feeding on a zebra.”
