This daring stuntman could have died with one wrong turn as he rode his unicycle across a natural bridge suspended above the Jordanian desert.
Lutz Eichholz, 32, works his nine to five as an urban planner in Kaiserslautern, Germany, but the fun-loving adrenaline junkie spends the rest of his time on his unicycle, making some extra cash from performances.
An adventurer at heart, Lutz was keen to visit Jordan after travelling to Israel and set about finding some of the hardest lines to ride in Jordan’s Wadi Rum Desert.
This incredible video shows the 32-year-old tackling the dusty desert terrain and performing 360 stunts and tricks down the steep sand dunes with the incredible backdrop of roaming camels.
Luckily seasoned pro Lutz boasted his dangerous manoeuvre across a narrow rock bridge was not as hard as it looked.
He said: “I like to practice in alpine terrain, and I’m always looking for new obstacles and challenges.
“I heard before that the Wadi Rum desert in Jordan is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world and I wanted to see if this was true.
“Crossing the natural bridge was technical, not really hard, but if I fell to the left or right I would have died.
“I was completely concentrated on crossing safely and my head felt completely empty.
“After I’d crossed over safely I looked out across the desert landscape from above and felt happy and free.”
