Stop horsing around – a herd of Icelandic horses have been caught saying cheese for the camera.
German photographer, Ingo Gerlach, 65 – who has taken over 8000 photos of horses – had been watching the heard of Icelandic stallions for a long period of time when he noticed their quirky habits.

Ingo, who is also a graphic designer and took these photos while visiting Iceland last year, said: “When the stallions are tired, they like to yawn long and hard.
“This yawning always looks like a grin or laugh.
“I have recently taken over 8000 pictures of the stallions and the latest have been my favourites.”
