This youngster decided to ingeniously use his surroundings to gather a little gift for the Tooth Fairy – by pulling his tooth out using a SLEDGE.
In snowy Shaver Lake, California, USA, young Atticus Chandler, six, decided the best way to yank out his wobbly tooth was to have a little fun along the way.
Having tied a piece of string around his tooth and laid down on the sledge, Atticus’ father, Nick, 37, then pushed the child down the slope, pulling the tooth clean from his mouth as he reached the bottom of the slope.
According to Nick, from Fresno, California, the idea completely belonged to his son – who had also debated using a ceiling fan and a remote control car.
Since filming the video, shot earlier this month, Nick and his wife, Kyoko, 34, – known as Koko – have provided others with a number of laughs when showing them the footage.
Nick said: “Everyone was super excited but no-one could believe he was the one who had the idea and was willing to do it.
“It was only his second time to the snow and he was having a blast sledding all day.
“When he woke up the next day he burst in to the kitchen and announced to the whole family, ‘I have my best idea… and I want to do it today!’
“It was hilarious.
“He actually said that the reason he wanted to do it that day was he wanted to get a gift from the tooth fairy.
“The tooth fairy always leaves him a small train and a dollar.”
