Building a bridge to reach their campsite, these boys found more than they bargained for – watching a group of salamander eggs hatch.
The salamander nymphs made for a mesmerising moment in nature in Western North Carolina, in Otto as they wiggled free of the eggs.

He said, “When I found them I just thought they were super cool and when I showed the video to others they seemed to think the same.
“It was pretty awesome.”
