An energetic singer’s goofy dance moves during a choir performance has gone viral.
During an OK City Chorus’ performance, associate professor of religious studies Marie Dallam stole the show with her jazz hands and festive sunglasses.
While the remaining singers wowed the crowd with a rendition of Jingle All the Way, Marie made sure to keep the music festive with some sleigh bells.
The hilarious video has been viewed more than seven million times on social media
Marie, who works at the University of Oklahoma, said: “We didn’t have too much time to practice and one of the organisers asked me to jingle the bells.
“She said be as goofy as possible and that’s what I tried to do.
“I think of myself as a serious person and shy in my normal life.
“Being a member of the chorus allows me to indulge in my silly side.”
OK City Chorus sing both four part acapella and barbershop.
The group’s director Mary Rhea said: “It has been great fun to spread joy this holiday season.”
