This thrill-seeking aquatic snapper couldn’t resist taking a selfie underwater – but was s photobombed by an overly-friendly octopus which wrapped its tentacles around his face.

Shane Browns, a photographer from Honolulu, was diving with some friends in Sharks Cove, Oahu, Hawaii when the friendly cephalopod got a little too close for comfort.

Shane, 27, said: “The octopus grabbed onto my mouth while I took a selfie.

“We shot a lot of stuff with this octopus that day, but I definitely like my selfie the best.

“It’s always fun to interact with intelligent sea life.”
