An artist has recreated a sexist 1930’s video instructing how women should undress in front of their husband.

Nadja Marcin came across the original black and white footage that depicts two women getting ready for bed and was ‘shocked and disgusted.’

The American filmmaker decided to remake the 1937 video and star as both unrobing women, Trixie and Miss Barry.

In the hilarious short, Trixie has yet to master the art of undressing while Miss Barry gets top scores.

Although comical, Nadja hopes to portray how women are represented by society historically and today.

Nadja said: “Women love it. Men do too but I think it resonates with women.

“When I first saw the original there was feeling of hilarity but also shock and disgust.

“As women, we have an ideal that has been projected on to us from men.

“How we should look and act, what is beauty.

“I hope that one day femininity will be celebrated by women in power.”
