This is the adorable moment an expectant mum caught her toddler ‘giving birth’ having watched all her pregnancy DVDs.
For this adorable tot, her mum’s second pregnancy is a real labour of love as she demonstrated at home in Texas.
Peering into her bedroom in August 2018, Christi can hear panting and moaning before looking down and seeing her four-year-old daughter lying back on the bed.
After mere seconds, this little girl produces a teddy bear from underneath her T-shirt as if she’s given birth before returning to her bed.
Christi, who is 14 weeks pregnant with her and husband Joshua’s second child, said: “This was just the cutest thing ever.
“She will do this for the entire day.
“She absolutely loves having baby in belly like mommy does.
“This is the first time I have seen her mimic labour, but I am sure it won’t be the last.”
“She has been interested in everything pregnancy related and it has been so cool.
“She’d started school and one of her teachers was pregnant, so the interest sparked there.
“Now she loves seeing videos of parents having babies.”
She was diagnosed as hard of hearing late on, and as such her American Sign Language (ASL) abilities are not fully developed.
Christi said: “One of the biggest blessings of this experience is being able to teach her about pregnancy and babies.
“It is so adorable watching her become excited for what is going to happen.
“Because her speech and ASL isn’t at a point where she can relay back what she is learning, watching her act it out is how I know she is grasping what we are teaching her.
“Now, we can only hope my labour is as quick and simple, maybe without the llama at the end though.”
