These breathtaking images have been selected as the best of the best when it comes to destination wedding photography around the world.
The shots were taken across a variety of stunning locations – from atop of mountaintops and overlooking lakes, to using the likes of New York City or the Milky Way as glittering backdrops.
In other images, newlywed couples can be seen embracing in fields in full bloom, reflecting in salt flats, and kissing underwater.
They are part of Junebug Wedding’s annual selection of the “Best Destination Photos,” which was announced today (Monday, August 27).
In total, 50 images were selected from more than 5,000 entries from across the world.
These entries came from nearly 450 renowned wedding photographers, whose works were assessed by three judges: Mark Pacura, Carey Nash, and Jane Iskra of ISKRA Photography.
As well as newlywed shots, the contest features images from weddings, engagements, honeymoons, couple shoots, and vow renewals – anything to showcase both the love between a couple and the beauty of a destination.
Carrie Schwab, editor-in-chief of Junebug Weddings, said: “A great destination photo highlights a location’s vibe first and foremost.
“For this contest, specifically, we are looking at photos that blend a destination’s beauty while also highlighting the love between a couple.
“People love our destination collection because it feels like a mini-getaway.”
