A fun-loving refuse worker made a bog-standard visit to the tip a bit more exciting by dancing to a disco song playing out of a car window.
Elaine Overend had to drop some household waste off at the recycling centre in St Helens, Merseyside, when she was greeted with the cheerful chap.
As ‘Jump’ by the Pointer Sisters played out of her car window on May 24, the member of staff, who she thinks is called Charlie, broke into a dance.
Holding his hands above his head and twirling around, he not only gave Elaine a giggle, but the video has since been viewed 36,000 times on Facebook.
Elaine, 43, said: “He made my day.
“After helping me put my various rubbish in the correct containers he got caught up in the music and forgot himself a bit.
“He was really helpful and friendly, and the dancing just made me laugh.
“He danced a couple of times, but I only managed to film the second one.”
