May the fourth be with you! These incredible pictures show two Star Wars fans recreating a stunning lightsaber fight.
The pair poses under the milky way as a million tiny stars twinkle in the background.
It’s hard to believe that the scene is real – but the sparkling is actually caused by thousands of specks of light reflecting off salt flats near Uyuni, Bolivia.
The shots were captured by Dominic Chiu, a Hong Kong-based stockbroker and travel photographer.
Dominic said: “I have always wanted to do a set of lightsaber pictures.
“Last year before going to Uyuni realised with the reflection on the salt flats at night I would be able to create a reflection of the stars and galaxy, which would be perfect for a Star Wars-themed picture.
“When I first saw the place I doubted it was real as I was stunned. It got even more magnificent when night came, as it brought the reflection of billions of stars.
“I was trying to do the pictures with me holding the lightsaber, and also a duel with my friend who came with me. I even tried light painting and drone shots while I was there.
“I am absolutely a Star Wars fan – Revenge of the Sith is my favourite Star Wars movie.”
Dominic said his stunning shots racked up accolades from across the web.
He added: “The internet praised me for the pictures, especially Star Wars fans.
“A lot of Hong Kong media talked about it, and even a Star Wars Official page shared it.
“I started by using my dad’s old film camera which I found under the bed, and it was fun. I love travel and photography becomes the primary tool to tell stories.”
