A group of good samaritans rushed to a woman’s aid after she attempted to take her own life.
The can be seen climbing the railing of the bridge in Toronto Gardiner Expressway, in Canada, as concerned passersby run from their cars to stop her jumping.
The footage was captured on CCTV from Kristofer’s house, which overlooks the bridge, on April 21, after it took nearly two hours to get the woman to safety.
The 27-year-old said: “The camera is facing outside my condo apartment towards the Toronto Gardiner Expressway and the section where I live has a lot of accidents, usually one on a weekly basis.
“But I’ve never seen anything like this happen before.
“I believe there were injuries as shortly after several paramedics, firetrucks, and police came onto the scene.
I’ve captured many accidents here before, so I thought it was just another rear end accident. I couldn’t believe what I was watching the first time I looked at it.”
