A photographer has shared adorable footage of a group of pigs swimming around their own ISLAND in the Bahamas.
Kristina Kashtanova, 32, was visiting the Pig Beach, which is an uninhabited island located in Exuma, Bahamas, when she saw the pigs swimming and splashing about.
The adorable animals are known for residing on this island and entertaining the locals with their friendly character.
Kristina, from New York, USA, said: “It was surreal to see giant pigs swimming in those waters and demanding everyone to feed them.
“I was so excited that I wasn’t careful enough and the pig tried to grab a carrot but accidentally ended up chewing my fingers.
“I was laughing but the pig really thought it was carrots. It ended well. It wasn’t a malicious bite, just an accident.
“I managed to cuddle with one of the piglets though – I found a really calm one and I held it very gentle so it wasn’t making any noise.
“I know that local people are worried about pigs being exposed so much by the sun.
“There’s some area with trees where they could hide but pigs love the beach because carrots are coming from there.”
