This POV footage shows how much of a walk of faith it takes to cross a busy road in Vietnam when buses and taxis ignore road markings.
British tourist Paul Blaycock chronicled the moment he tried to traverse a busy thoroughfare in the Ben Nghe district of Ho Chi Minh City on March 5.
Even when Paul, from Walsall, West Mids, steps on to the tarmac the vehicles show no intention of slowing down for the pedestrian.
Despite getting into the middle of the crossing, scooters and cars zoom around him before he eventually reaches the other side as a couple holding hands try to take on the challenge.
Paul said: “It was so scary trying to cross the road.
“I had absolutely no idea that traffic and attempting to cross the road in Vietnam was so crazy.
“You have to keep steadily moving forward and you’re ok.
“The cars judge your speed and seems to aim just in front or just behind you.
“If you lose your nerve and move backwards and you’d be a goner.
“It was a huge relief to reach the other side in one piece.
“They just totally ignore the crossing in Vietnam.”
