Tourists on trail ride get up close to the animals at a watering hole but are shocked by what they see.
Nancy Vandermey, 51, a spacecraft operations engineer, from Pasadena California, filmed zebras, wildebeests and elephants, all arriving at the waterhole in Sweni trail Camp, Kruger National park, South Africa, back in November, last year.
She said: “There are almost always animals in sight but this day they all came at once.
“First herds of zebra, impala, and wildebeest came along and then the two rhinos, two herds of elephant, warthogs and lions.
“We were just thrilled and amazed. The buffalo and elephant in the lower waterhole were so interesting to watch the interactions.
“We signed up for the three-night trail starting November 1 after had doing the same trail previously in 2013.
“In fact we had the exact same guiding team us as four years earlier.
“We had a motion-activated trail camera on the tree in front of the muddy waterhole to capture the action.”
