A small juice shop in an Indian city has become a major attraction for people after its owner spent £2200 to buy bizarre pets – a pair of iguana lizards.
Huge rush of customers is witnessed at Raju Sagar’s juice shop in Indore in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, since he bought the creepy pets.
Visuals show people congregating in the juice shop to get a glimpse of the the lizards, 4.5-feet in length.
The excited customers can be seen touching the reptiles with their hands and some clicking pictures of them.
A young man, in the video, can be seen holding one of the iguanas on his shoulder.
Sagar, 45, who has always been fascinated by lizards, said: “I bought them from Mumbai for £2200. I already had five lizards but they are small in size.
“I always wanted to have iguana as pets because they are large and very beautiful. Look at design on their bodies.
“Ever since I have bought the iguanas, my shop has witnessed a huge rush of customers. Most of them have never seen such large-sized lizards.”
Sagar takes care of the lizards while feeding them carrots, pumpkins, spinach and other vegetarians foods.
In the video one of the iguana can be seen munching at cucumber slices.
He says even though these lizards look scary in appearance, they are harmless creatures.
“They might look scary in appearance but iguanas are harmless. Even if a baby is left in front of them, they won’t do any harm.”
