The aftermath of Storm Emma left dead sea life strewn including starfish and octopus strewn across a sea wall.
Having been stuck inside for five days because the horrendous weather, Nick Eogan took a stroll with wife Nuala on Sunday March 4 but was greeted with an almost apocalyptic sight.
Walking down the seafront in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland, the retiree spotted a line of creatures washed up on the stone wall.
Following the trail to its conclusion, the 69-year-old different types of fish, starfish and octopus can be seen in the footage that has been viewed by 122,000 times online.
Nick said: “I was completely amazed at the different creatures washed up.
“There must have been hundreds of them, all species.
“Some of them I recognised, but others I had never seen before in my life.
“I’ve walked along this prom for the last 50 years and have never seen so many different types of fish before.
“There was a crowd of people just staring at the line of fish.
“They were just as shocked as I was at what they were seeing.”
