A stunned man found not one, but two tiny kittens peering in through his first-floor window.

As Riley Cosgrove was chilling in his bedroom in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, he was greeted with a small, ginger and white visitor scratching at his glass.

Stunned, by the feline face looking back at home, Riley quickly looks for a way to open the hatch around his window.

Having made a gap for the cat to jump into, Riley turns around to find a second, almost identical kitten looking into his room.

While on the phone to his friend, he lets the second pussycat into his room leaving them both to explore under his bed and desk.

Riley said: “Of course I was shocked and confused but I couldn’t have been more excited about two kittens being on my roof.

“I have absolutely no idea how they got up there as there isn’t a route.

“Also, the roof is very slippery, so I don’t know how they managed to grip it.

“When the kittens were inside, we had to keep them separate to the downstairs area where my baby brother resided, just in case they had worms or anything.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep the cats because we were living in a complex, so they were taken to the pound.

“The good news is, the video had reached their previous owners and they successfully retrieved them.”
