This is the hilarious moment a pigeon flies into a pub and staff spend two hours trying to remove it.
As customers enjoyed their early Sunday roast in the Yates’ in Solihull, West Mids, around 11am on February 4, they were joined by a feathered punter.
Landing on a TV behind the bar, a barman tries to coax it out using a broom before the bird intruder moves and sits on a screen above England football manager Gareth Southgate.
After flying throughout the pub, members of staff craft a makeshift pigeon catcher using a pole and a bin bag to grab the stowaway.
Having captured the bird in the bag, it is finally led outside and released into the wild again.
An onlooker said: “All of the customers were laughing, but as soon as it came anywhere near them they started screaming.
“When they were trying to catch it, its feathers fell all over one of the tables.
“They had to disinfect everything.
“The bird catcher was made from a bin bag, pole and a metal ring.”
