Hilarious footage shows raccoon high 5-ing passerby

A passerby was shocked when he was high-fived by a raccoon when he was walking down the street.

Robbie Abalos, from Portland, Oregon, was left stunned when a tiny raccoon gave him a high-five on his walk.

Robbie captured the hilarious, yet cute, footage when he was visiting Point Defiance Park in Tacoma, Washington.

Robbie, 27, said: “The raccoons approached us while we were in the car and they walked right up to us.

“I was not expecting to actually have one high five me, nor have I ever done it before.

“My initial reaction was to laugh as I had never seen raccoons so comfortable with humans like that.

“But then I thought that it’s only because people feed them all of the time that they would be comfortable enough to do this.”
