Animal photographer and ‘King of Cuteness’ Mark Taylor took the super cute shots as the young kittens and puppies played together at his Guildford studio.

The 53-year-old managed to capture the images – some of which have been used for greeting cards – by using toys and feathers to distract the young models.

But Mark admitted it was quite a challenge to get the animals to keep the hats on.

He said: “The biggest challenge is getting the animals used to wearing the hats.

“Kittens love to flip them and chase them, and puppies adore chewing them.

“The most fun part is playing with the animals and getting their focus on some other toy, even if very briefly, while I take the shot.

“It’s nearly always a challenge because of the difficulty in getting the animals to look relaxed and, at the same time, to be either focused on each other or the camera. They usually have other agendas.

“The thing about photographing animals is it’s totally unpredictable, so the variety of the job is my favourite thing.”
