Forget about hunky firefighters and strapping police officers – this hilarious calendar shows off the sexy side of another essential member of society: the humble CABBIE.

The 2018 edition of the New York City Taxi Drivers Calendar features drivers squeezing baby oil, sensually eating a photo cake, making pottery, and rocking fishnet garments.

Shot over two months, the popular calendar is now in its fifth installment, receiving rave reviews over recent years.

In total, the amusing calendar has been sold in all 50 states and more than 30 countries, organizers Philip and Shannon Kirkman said.

A portion of the proceeds are donated to a nonprofit, University Settlement, America’s oldest settlement house, which serves over 30,000 immigrant and working individuals and families every year with basic services.

Over the past five years, sales of the cabbie calendar have raised more than $60,000 for University Settlement.

When shooting the scenes, Shannon hoped to capture the uniqueness of New York City and those who inhabit it.

Many of the drivers were referred as models by previous participants – something, Philip said, that helps give new models an understanding of the kind of humour they are getting themselves into.

He added: “We are very pleased.

“As always, the drivers were awesome and gave everything to the scenes, which really translates in the final images.”
