SERENA Williams has snapped up a brand new home – for half the price of the mansion she put up for sale.
The tennis legend bought the home for nearly $7m (£5.27M) after putting her home of 11 years on the market for $12m (£9.05M).
She is already raking in almost double the $6.6m (£4.97M) she paid for her old home in 2006 if she gets her asking price.
Star athlete Serena gave birth to her first daughter in September and will soon marry Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian.
The new family of three will now move in their brand-spanking-new Spanish-inspired home.
The 6,000-square-foot residence is in a gated complex between Beverly Hills and Studio City.
As well as her new LA home Williams has two properties in Florida and is rumoured to also have a property in Paris.
In 2013 Williams sold a stylish condo on the famed Wilshire Boulevard for $1.85 million (£1.39M).
Her new home – listed by Nest Seekers – boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms across three floors.
There are formal dining rooms in the property plus a family room with a fireplace and a spacious kitchen.
The Grand Slam champ will also be able to enjoy a walk-in wine cellar and a plunge swimming pool.
Some of Williams’ new neighbours include Gwen Stefani, according to reports.
