This dachshund his quite the PAW-FORMER.
Little sausage dog Harlso, three, has an unusual talent for balancing objects on his head.
The petite pooch is a master of staying still and keeping the items perfectly perched.
His owners Paul Lavery and Jennifer Scott have tested him with carrots, water melon slices, a Rubix cube, a rose and even a tennis ball. Each time Harlso has come through with flying colours.
Paul and Jennifer, from Belfast, claim he is a natural as they have never trained him in his art.
His ability has earned him a massive following worldwide, with fans sending him more objects to balance as well as his trademark bow ties.
Paul said: “Jen bought Harlso when he was four months old and instantly fell in love with him. He was the last of his litter and the breeder almost didn’t sell him.
“One day I was playing with him and threw his toy about a million times. I was getting tired and set the toy on Harlso’s head. He balanced it and kept looking at it whilst it was on his head.
“Harlso doesn’t know any other tricks and was never trained to balance. It’s his only trick but it’s a good one! He does it now for treats, cuddles and praise.
“He balances around once to twice per week and never anything dangerous or heavy. He normally balances items for 20-30 seconds for a video.
“As a dog he is pretty laid back. He loves chilling and cuddling but when he is out he loves walking and can walk for days.
“He’s sociable with other dogs and loves getting attention. He is also protective at home and enjoys barking at the postman who is always delivering gifts and things to balance from his followers.
“We have some incredible followers who make Harlso bow ties and send them to him.”
Harlso and his owners are hoping to release a calendar for his fans in 2018.
