This incredible video shows a man getting a brand new moustache.
And if you’re squeamish – then yes, it is as invasive as it sounds.
The footage shows Dr Sunil Richardson inserting new hairs into scar tissue of a Suresh, 21, who was born with a cleft lip.
Dr Sunil collects hair from the back and the sides of the head and then inserts them back into the lip in order to create the new section of moustache.
Suresh had had surgery to fix his cleft lip, but was left with a scar and a gap in the middle of his moustache.
He comes from Goa, India and travelled a whopping 1,000km to have this surgery done in the Tamilnadu region.
Dr Sunil said: “The surgery was done under local anaesthetic and it took one hour in total.
“It’s pretty comfortable for the patient as the part is numbed, but he shouldn’t move.
“I have 16 years of experience in all and around 10 years in this type of hair transplants. It can be done for eyebrows, beard and sideburns as well.
“The second video was taken 6 days after the procedure and you can already see the hair growth!
“I am a maxillofacial and craniofacial surgeon trained extensively in India and abroad and currently: Director of Richardsons craniofacial Hospital, India.”
