Househunters will fall in love with this ace property owned by tennis star Serena Williams.
The grand slam abode, situated in the Los Angeles area, is not to let but for sale – asking a whopping $11.99 million (£9.15m).
Serena requires a lot of room to store her 23 Grand Slam singles titles, and this six-bedroom property is not short of space.
Built in 1935, the home is one of the largest in Bel Air’s Stone Canyon area, spanning a total of two-and-a-half acres.
As well as an ample number of sleeping quarters to serve family and guests, the 6,101-square-foot home also features the likes of a pool, bar and gym – but, alas, not tennis court.
Hidden from the street by dense foliage, those who enjoy the outdoors can also make the most of the locations private hiking trails.
According to reports about property records, Serena bought the home in 2006 for $6.62 million – meaning a tidy return on her investment, should it sell for the asking price.
The listing agent for this property, 1201 Stone Canyon, is Gregory Piechota of Keller Williams Beverly Hills.
