Children’s artwork is being transformed into clothing designs – thanks to a company in Las Vegas.
Picture This Clothing allows adults and children to download templates from their website, and then draw their own designs on to it.
The customers can then upload a photo of their design to the website, which is then transformed in to a unique garment.
Jaimee Newberry, 42, co-founder and CEO of Picture This Clothing launched the website last year, and has seen it grow from strength to strength.
Jaimee said: “A couple of years ago my daughter Zia drew a picture of a rainbow dress, and when I saw it I excitedly said ‘I can make that!’
“Nearly $100 (£75) of fabric and 12 hours of work later, Zia put on the finished dress and exclaimed ‘I’m wearing my imagination!’
“After that my boyfriend Ken came back with a smile, and a big idea to transform kids’ artwork directly into their own custom designed clothes.
“Ken and I have a personal mission to put positivity into the world and by creating this company, we believe we’re not only putting something
positive out there, but giving tools to others to do the same.
“As we’ve seen by the artwork we see every single day, kids of all ages create from a place of pure joy and inspiration, and it’s exciting to be able
to be involved with that.”
