This close footage shows the terrifying moment a great white shark dives head first under waves baring its razor-sharp teeth.
While Anthony Kobrowisky swam in the predator infested waters off Gansbaai, South Africa, on September 16, he was greeted by the ferocious hunter.
Momentarily above the waves, the shark ducks its nose into the sea and opens its powerful jaws, showing off its terrifying teeth.
Anthony, who works with Sea Candy Media, managed keep a safe distance by capturing the beast swim past filming from his boat.
Anthony said: “Gansbaii is the great white shark capital of the world but I have only been this close to tiger sharks or blacktips before.
“I was so excited to get this close shot.
“Our aim isn’t to install fear or cause sharks to appear in a negative aspect but rather educate on their dwindling numbers.
“We need to protect these animals as they are very important to the balance of our ecosystem.
“The reduction is mainly due to shark finning to supply Asian markets, so we do not get the sharks in the numbers that we used to.”
