In the 1980s this car was tipped as being unbeatable on the racetrack. With a second set of fuel injectors and an engine output of 225 PS, it was the high-end touring racer version of the Ford Sierra Cosworth. The car could reach 62mph in 6.2 seconds and could reach 153mph

On top of this car’s insane value, it most recently went for a £4,000 service at a ford specialist garage, which included all fluids, belts and a new battery. Aside from that, the car remains untouched.

For comparison, you can find a brand new Lotus Evora 400 for the comparatively low price of £72,000, or an Aston Martin DB11 V8 for around £160,000.

Unlike the run of the mill Ford Fiesta that you’d leave out in the rain, this pampered car received a luxurious treatment whilst in a private collection. It was professionally stored inside a heated and dehumidified facility.

It was Joe Macari who discovered the Sierra in 2007, in a private collection in Germany – he bought the car and arranged transport for it back to the UK.
