This beautiful autumn landscape comes to life as the leaves change colour ready for fall.
The aerial pictures, taken by Matt Benedetto, 28, from Burlington, Vermont, show the forests of his home state as they transition into their autumn foliage.
Matt said: “These photos showcase the beautiful window of time in Vermont where the fall foliage colors reach their peak.
“Every year the peak foliage may fall on a different time of year depending on the weather and you only have a few days to see these colors before they start to turn and fall.
“These are a few of my favorite spots I go to each year to capture the amazing colours first hand.”
Matt runs several businesses, including a photography and video business, and has a passion for aerial images.
He said: “People may see an aerial photo of a place they have been going to their whole life but never from that point of view.
“Even if they know the area like the back of their hand, my aerial photos can sometimes change their idea of proximity or distance to other places in a way they had never realized.
“People love to carefully scan the photos to be sure not to miss anything.”
