This ingenious deer uses his antlers to scavenge for his favourite treat.
Simon Wildgust from Hampshire was holidaying in Dieppe, France, with his family when they noticed the deer’s unusual behaviour.
After further inspection, Simon watched on as the deer jumped up on his back legs and knocked the apples down from the tree before enjoying his snack.
During their ten day break, they saw the deer every day at his favourite spot, using his ginormous antlers to his advantage.
Simon said: “We were captivated by the deer so much so that my daughter Emily insisted on us going back to see them each day.
“The field where the deer were was a minutes’ walk from the site where we were staying which meant it was easy to regularly visit them.”
