This theme park fright night left one poor punter visibly scared – and her hilarious reaction was caught on camera.
Charlotte Regen, 21, was caught on camera screaming and begging to get out of the themed Fright Nights maze at Thorpe Park Resort, in Surrey – to the amusement of her pal, who filmed the whole thing.
The scare maze; The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare, invites brave revellers to experience iconic scenes from the hit AMC TV show The Walking Dead.
The zombies, flashing lights and loud crashing certainly had the desired effect on Charlotte, leaving her shrieking in terror.
Charlotte, from Birmingham, said: “I was supposed to go in a second time but there was no way I could. I just refused.
“It was absolutely petrifying.
“I love the Walking Dead, so I was really excited about going in.
“But just a few seconds in, I started to panic – I just wanted to get out.
“I honestly think it was the worst two minutes of my life, and certainly the longest.
“I had no idea I’d be that scared, but all the lights and the noise and the zombies jumping out at me was just terrifying.
“If you enjoy the thrill of being scared then this is the perfect Fright Night for you because it’s definitely terrifying.
Pal Michael Scott, who filmed her reaction, said: “I thought it was hilarious.”
The new maze is one of six horror experiences at this year’s Fright Nights at Thorpe Park Resort in Surrey, which opened to the public on Friday (September 29) and runs throughout October.
