A fearless diver came face to face with a Great White Shark – and even PATTED it.
Brave Martin Kochling touched a two of the predators, which can grow up to 20 feet in length and weigh a whopping 2,000 kilograms.
Photographer Jean-Marie Ghislain, from Brussels, Belgium, snapped the diver in Guadalupe, Mexico, saying it is the ‘Mecca’ of Great Whites.
The 61-year-old said: “There was a male and a female shark, and they both had completely different personalities.
“The large female was a player who showed amazing social ability.
“The younger male was quite territorial and aggressive, but if you were an experienced diver you could manage him.”
He added: “It’s good to show you can have a peaceful encounter with a Great White.
“They have such great personalities.”
