A little girl and her faithful dog have become the best of friends and are now inseparable.
Four-year-old Erin and her canine companion, five-year-old English Bulldog, Harvey, have been close since the day Erin was born and allows the youngster to love and cuddle him as well as dressing him up in matching outfits.
Mom, Katherine Craig, 35, said: “They really are best friends.
“Harvey would show some interest in her as a newborn, he would come around and give her a sniff and lick.
“When he first encountered Erin he just kept watching her.
The family from Goshen, New York, have owned Harvey since December, 2011, and he loves the attention he gets from little Erin.
Katherine, a Civil Engineer, said: “Most of the time he just follows her around the house, whatever she is doing.
“I think Erin loves that Harvey lets her do whatever she wants, in terms of him letting her cuddle him and dress him up but Harvey just loves the attention.
“He definitely loves Erin.
“She can get away with whatever she wants to do to him.
“He can be a little bit of a jerk sometimes if he doesn’t want to do something, but never with Erin.”
