A photographer has recreated some of Disney's most famous princesses as well as their more mature counterparts.

Tony Ross, a professional photographer from Los Angeles, worked alongside designer Nephi Garcia to create the idea of the photo shoot which shows young Disney princesses such as Cinderella, Ariel and Snow White who are later transformed into older versions of themselves.

Tony said: "The shoot was absolutely fantastic. Meeting all these amazing people and being able to travel to all these places with the grand purpose of telling this story was such a joy to me.

Each princess pair was photographed at the same location such as Victoria Beach, California, for his Ariel style shoot and a Buddhist Temple in Arcadia, also in California, for the Mulan style shoot.
