Who said rugby isn’t girly? A team of women dressed in pretty prom dresses get stuck into the action.
Assistant coach, Rich Hersey, 42, filmed the fun finale for the women’s team just two weeks ago on May 19.
It was a friendly game between two secondary schools, Mountain View High School and Centennial High School, based in Meridian, Idaho
Rich, who coaches the boys team, filmed the hilarious clip that shows teams Furies Rugby vs Nampa Rugby tackling one another wearing pretty frocks.
He added: “It was just a fun event designed around the idea of putting together a fun finale for the teams.
“While the teams have a focus on winning throughout the season, rugby also allows us to create an environment where the players can have a lot of fun and really enjoy themselves.
“The girls wearing dresses is one of the best examples of how the rugby culture has built a community of sportsmanship, friends, and fun.”
