This is the moment a husband is bowled over when his wife surprises him by revealing she has a home run in the oven.
Throwing out the first pitch for her local baseball team the Red Rock Express, in Red Rock, Texas, USA, local TV anchor Allison Miller has a surprise up her sleeve for husband Thomas Swafford and it isn’t her four-seam fastball.
Cartwheeling spectacularly on the turf, Allison launches a rather lacklustre ball towards the pitcher’s mound, which is quickly collected by their two-year old daughter, who bounds over to her dad.
Pleased with his souvenir, the soon-to-be father of two doesn’t register the words ‘Little Slugger Due December 2017’ until prompted by Allison, leaving a stunned Thomas asking ‘are you serious’.
Thomas said: “I was completely in shock, I was under the impression baby number two would take a bit longer.
“We’d only just started trying, I just couldn’t believe it.
“I was so stoked, I like to keep a poker face in public, but this caught me off guard.
“I quickly had to put my sunglasses on to hide my tears.
“The baby is due in December and we’re waiting till then to find out the gender.
“We are so excited to be parents for the second time.”
