A WHEELY cute playful puppy had to take a trip to the vets after getting its head stuck in a car alloy.
Pit bull pup, Jade, was rushed to BluePearl hospital in Philadelphia, USA after owner, Jasmine Williams, found the curious canine trapped head first in the car wheel, unable to move.
Experts at the Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center (VSEC) quickly sedated Jade.
Once she relaxed, they were able to slip the tyre off. They gave her some steroids to help the swelling around her neck and within an hour she was happy and wagging her tail again.
Jenny Davis, an advanced veterinary technician at VSEC said it wasn’t the first time she had seen a dog stuck in something unusual.
She said: “Jade was bright and alert but she was extremely exhausted. She was just so worked up and anxious from being stuck in there.
“They tend to get themselves stuck in just about anything.”
