A Bond fan arrived at his own wedding in true 007 style after WAKEBOARDING to the ceremony in his tuxedo.
Daredevil Matt Knight, 40 and his two best men, brother Chris and friend Paul, made a spectacular entrance by wakeboarding down the picturesque Menai Strait to the wedding at the Chateau Rhianfa hotel in Anglesey.
The trio pulled some impressive stunts during the one-hour journey and Matt, who has been wakeboarding since he was a child, even performed a somersault for bemused guests waiting outside the venue.
Matt, an aerospace program director, was dripping wet on arrival but luckily had a spare tuxedo to change into before the ceremony.
Bride, Kirsty, a finance director from Stoke-on-Trent, even shunned the tradition of not seeing the groom before the ceremony and watched from the hotel window just to get a glimpse of her action man.
The 39-year-old said: “Matt is a huge Bond fan so it came as no surprise when he suggested a crazy stunt like this.
“The only thing I was worried about was him hurting himself on the way to the wedding but luckily he arrived unscathed.
“Our close friends and family knew what was happening but the rest of the guests didn’t so they had a huge surprise when they saw him arriving.”
