A pipe welder swapped metal tongs for curling tongs by treating his grandmother to a lock-down spa day.
Grandmother Bobbe Windham, 86, is used to treating herself to a trip to her beauty shop every week.
But since self-isolation, Bobbe has be quarantined at home in Destin, Florida, without access to her weekly pick-me-up.
Not allowing his grandmother to miss out on some glamour in her life, loving pipe-welding grandson, Matthew Stewart, 35, treated Bobbe to her very own spa day.
Carefully washing and styling his grandmother’s hair, Bobbe was thrilled with her lock-down salon day.
Matthew said: “We are staying strong through all of this. We did some social distancing for a couple weeks which was very hard. But the cases in our area haven’t been too bad so we’ve been hanging out again as of last week. We’re both staying positive and making the best of the situation.”
