He may not have found the most tree-mendous hiding place but this playful cub enjoyed a game of peek-a-boo nonetheless.
The bear was spotted ‘hiding’ behind a tree trunk and even cheekily sticking his tongue out as he played with his siblings in the woods.
The un-bear-ably cute moment was captured by Valtteri Mulkahainen, a teacher from Finland.
The 59-year-old was out walking in Martinselkonen, near the city of Suomussalmi when he spotted the playful youngsters.
He said: “I love photographing bears, especially small cubs. They remind me very much of small children.
“These bears were playing in the forest, climbing trees, fighting and searching for food.
“When I see bears playing they are just like children. They behave the same way, playing, somersaulting and hiding from each other behind trees.
“Sometimes they fight, but they soon play together again.”
