A long-distance runner has been keeping fit and motivated during quarantine by completing an entire marathon in his apartment.

With gyms being closed across the globe and outdoor activities being reduced to a minimum, many fitness fanatics have been thinking up new and inventive ways in order to combat the boredom of quarantine.

Brisbane-based long-distance runner Tim Franklin decided to push himself to the limit by running an entire marathon while being on lockdown in his apartment.

Running a whopping 2010 laps around his 21-metre track, which consisted of his kitchen, living room couch and balcony, Tim managed to complete his 42km work-out in just 6.45.05.

Tim said: “At the half way point I stated to get dizzy and slowly go bonkers.

“We just need to stay positive and keep moving”.
