With many people opting out of their travel plans due to Covid-19 fears, the almost empty DFW airport has been described as a ghost town.
Matt Collins, 31, was flying to Nashville on March 18 and captured the scene at the unusually quiet Terminal C.
He said: “It was eerie seeing what is normally a bustling terminal turn into a ghost town.”
Matt estimated that there were less than 300 people in the entire terminal and said that it seemed like the airport was over staffed.
“Many employees were grouped together throughout the terminal conversing about the state of the airport.”
“It took less than 10 minutes to fully board and close the doors.”
