Winds from the Icelandic bomb cyclone have been pushing pedestrians backwards along the pavement.
Storm chaser Muhammed Emin Kizilkaya was filming by the University of Iceland in Reykjavik on December 10, when winds reaching 70mph (30m/s) hit.
Coupled with the icy pavements, Muhammed and his meteorologist friends were blown backwards while standing upright.
Muhammed said: “It’s amazing how strong the winds are.
“There are even stronger winds around than in Reykjavik but these were powerful enough to move us.”
